As the Ralph Lauren Black and Purple label continue to get positive response the company is think to expanding the label to there own stores. "We’re familiar with operating stores of different scales," said Wayne Meichner, who was promoted last week to president and COO of Polo Ralph Lauren’s Retail Group. 
“The stores don’t get any bigger,” Meichner said, “so it’s all about choices. Do we trade up? Do we take apparel space away to focus on accessories?” Although he stressed that “nothing is firmed up,” I guess that means we could have a new store in are mist.”
